Congratulations to Makefield Putters member Michael Brown for winning the 40th New Jersey Mid-Amateur Championship in Deal, NJ at Deal Golf & Country Club on June 8th! This was his second time winning the Mid-Amateur Championship and his fourth NJ State Golf Association title. Brown defeated Troy Vannucci 3&1 in the finale to win the coveted Gigi Carnevale Trophy.
“It’s validation that the that I’ve done is worth something and I’m just excited about that,” Brown said immediately following his victory. “It gives me fuel in the tank to keep going.”
