On Monday May 8th, Makefield Putters participated in the 4th Annual Mike Quick Celebrity Invitational at The Union League Golf Club at Torresdale with First Tee – Greater Philadelphia and donated 60 putters for the student caddies.
First Tee is a youth development organization that provides educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. They believe that all kids deserve the chance to grow in a supportive environment while providing mentors to guide them. First Tee dedicates themselves to building programs that are accessible, welcoming, and as impactful as they are fun. The organization has partnered with multiple golf courses in the tri-county and New Jersey area.
